Shakespeare Trunk Show- Twelfth Night
This Production Class is for adults ages 18+.
Classes: July 7 – August 16, 2025
Tuition is $225 (including a $3 processing fee).
Classes are on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 6:30PM-9PM and M-F of the final week.
Performances are on Friday, August 15 at 7PM and Saturday, August 16 at 7PM.
The Shakespeare Trunk Show production class is a dynamic six-week educational program designed to make Shakespeare accessible and enjoyable.
Under the direction of Sarah Walker Thornton, a seasoned professional actor/director with a BFA in Theatre from Wright State University and an MFA from the Alabama Shakespeare Festival/University of Alabama, our class is set to bring the magic of iambic pentameter to life. Thornton’s background includes co-founding the NYC-based BAMA Theatre Company, recognized for its accessible and engaging approach to Shakespeare.

What will we do in Production Classes?
Production Classes are a rehearsal process that culminates in performances. You will participate in a group audition, be cast in a role, rehearse, and perform in the show. The audition and casting take place the first week of class.
How do I register for classes?
Registration forms and class information can be found here.
After I submit payment to MCT, am I enrolled in class?
Not yet! After submitting your online payment, you will receive a follow-up email to complete the online registration form. Please fill this out promptly, so that we have your information (emergency contact, allergies, etc.)
I can no longer attend. What is your refund policy?
Full refunds are given if a cancellation is made before the first day of class.
Cancellations made before the second day of class will be refunded in the form of an MCT gift card in the amount of the tuition minus $75.
No refunds will be given after the second day of classes.
Are there scholarships available?
Yes, there are a limited number of partial scholarships available. Receipt of an application does not guarantee a scholarship.
You will be notified of your eligibility before class begins, as soon as all applications have been processed. Application forms are available upon request by emailing Eric Prim.
Why do you need my phone number?
The information on the registration form is there for us to be able to contact you in case of an emergency or any other situation in which we would need to talk to you. Please provide the contact information for emergency contacts who are local.
When can I get tickets to the show?
Tickets are on sale through our Box Office and can be purchased online, by phone (406) 728-7529, or in person Monday-Friday from 12–5PM.
