AKA “Sam the Snowman” in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
I was born and raised in Havre, Montana. My first experience with performing was singing in church when I was very young. I sang and acted all through my school years and was a Thespian member in high school.
I was a member of the Badlands Players at NMC and spent 4 years as an actor and technician at Fort Peck Summer theatre. I became a founding member of the Montana Actors Theatre in the late eighties where I acted, directed, and did a lot of tech. I got my degree at UM, worked in the scene shop for 4 years, and was a techie at Riverfront Theatre in the tent.
I haven’t acted for the past 14 years, but when I retired this year, and decided to move to Missoula–to be closer to family–I knew I was going to audition for MCT. I was honored to get the part of Sam the Snowman in Rudolph.
I have been married to my wife Ann for 18+ years and have 2 grown sons, 2 grown daughters, 2 granddaughters, and 2 grandsons.
