Tim (Ickes/Bundles & Others) and Lexi Stoops (Annie):

Three shows together in one year’s time! It’s been such a rewarding opportunity for us both to spend this time together on stage, singing, dancing, and meeting so many wonderful fellow cast members and behind-the-scenes crew. Maybe someday we’ll get the other half of our family to join us!

Amy (Grace Farrell) & Lexi Ellis (July):

Amy and Lexi Ellis are not strangers to the MCT stage, but Annie is their first show together.

It’s been so fun sharing this special time and they can’t wait to do it again.

George (Bert Healy & Lt Ward) and Charlotte Laufenberg (Orphan):

Charlotte: “This show has been so much fun! I have made friends and met lots of amazing people, such a great show to be in with my dad.”

George: “It would be impossible to overstate what a gift it is to get to do something like this with one of my kids—and it’s a privilege to do so in support of MCT. This is our second Christmas show, and it’s fast becoming a family tradition! Now all we have to do is figure out how to also have time for actual Christmas. Still: we’re incredibly fortunate to have this international treasure based in our hometown.”

Kelly Bouma (Lily) & Daughter Charlotte McAfee (Orphan):

Charlotte: “Me and my mom are in Annie together and it’s really fun, because she’s made a lot of new friends, and I’ve made a lot of new friends. We both had connections to different people, and it’s really nice to have her in the show cause I can hang out with her on set and see her more than I usually do—yeah, it’s really fun.”

Kelly: Being in Annie, especially with my kiddo has been a highlight, in my work as an actor but also just in life. I love the role I’m playing (Lily), and the cast, crew and creative team are so passionate and welcoming. This is my first show with MCT, and it’s been a dream to be in a show with Charlotte. I really did manifest this, because even when she was really little, I told people: “Charlotte and I will do Annie together at MCT —whenever they do it!” Lucky for us, Charlotte was just the right age this year and I had time in my schedule. The stars aligned!

Samantha (Mrs. Pugh & Others) & Josie Dennison (Orphan):

Here we are, both in our 1st MCT Community show! While Josie has participated in school break camps, and MCT at her school, she is thrilled to have made it to the big holiday show stage. Being in this show together, making core memories we will cherish for the rest of our lives, means so much to us; being a part of the greater MCT family is an honor and privilege we don’t take for granted. Reminding our community that there is always tomorrow through song and dance is a gift that we are humbled to offer.

“You don’t have to run into the future in order to get more.” Thich Nhat Hanh

Tami Caton (Usherette & Others) & Pippa Disney-Caton (Orphan):

Our experience: To quote the song from the show “Annie, Annie, Annie look what you’ve done for us, Annie, Annie, Annie turned on the fun for us.”  It has been nothing but joy to watch my daughter experience the magic of theatre for the first time. To get to do this together has been such a gift…I will be forever grateful for this memory that we get to share and talk about for years to come.

Emily Morrison (Annette & Others) & Kamlin Cox (Drake & Others):

We are having oodles of fun performing together for the first time! Both of us are theatre professionals, but it is extra special to get to share a stage with someone you love. MCT is how we met! We are very grateful for the opportunity to share this experience with each other in a place we hold so dear.
