Celebrating the Community
That Makes Missoula Children’s Theatre Possible

Missoula Children’s Theatre is a place where people come together to connect. These connections are formed in every facet of our programming, from performers on stage and dedicated volunteers behind the scenes, to children participating in our youth programs, to tour actors traveling with the Red Truck Tours, and more.

To celebrate this spirit of connection, we created a special display in the MCT lobby this holiday season to honor our donors and the many ways they support MCT. If you have joined us for a performance in December, you may have noticed a chain of paper people wrapping around our concessions and bar area. Each one has the name of a supporter, all holding hands to form a visible chain of impact!

Seeing this chain makes the impact of their generosity tangible, where people come together to support something they believe in, are passionate about, and hold dear to their hearts.

As James Cox, one of our many supporters, so beautifully put it: “Theatre is the place where misfits find community; where they lose the mis- and just fit. The theater community is so accepting, supportive, and encouraging, it allows a person to feel safe exploring feelings, taking risks, and being vulnerable.”

The People Paper Chain stands as a reminder that theatre is, at its core, a shared experience. Each name in the chain represents an important link, helping ensure that Missoula Children’s Theatre remains a place of creativity, connection, and community for generations to come.

Happy Holidays!
