I have been two degrees or less of separation from Missoula Children’s Theatre for over four decades! I enjoy highlights of the national and international tour teams from my sister-in-law, Terri, who works at MCT. I heard about every community theater production from my parents, Midge and Jim Elander, who were long-time Premiere Night members.
I finally got to one degree of separation after I moved to Missoula and chauffeured my parents to Premiere Nights, and then zero degrees of separation when I joined the crew as a volunteer usher for Community Theatre productions! Now, living in Florida, I keep connected via photos of grand nieces/nephew when they perform in productions, and enjoy the INK newsletters, and give monthly donations in support of the magical work of MCT. Once connected to the spirit of Missoula Children’s Theatre, can one ever really separate themselves from MCT?
