“Thank you to the costumers! You can see by looking at the costumes that they have taken a lot of time to make them. Each and every stitch shows that you care for the children who try out and present your shows."
—Krysta from Colorado, age 14
On the MCT International Tour, the most exciting day of the week, next to the performance of course, is when the cast gets their costumes. The MCT International Tour has 45 shows on the road, each with approximately 266 costume pieces. That’s more than 12,000 costume pieces out on the road each year!
Each piece is painstakingly designed by our professional staff and lovingly assembled by one of our amazing “stitchers” in the home office costume shop. Roughly 4 miles of fabric is purchased each year. When they aren’t working on tour costumes, they are busily putting together the wardrobe for the MCT Community Theatre season comprised of 5 shows with casts of up to 100 each.
Your donation will help stitch the MCT International Tour together by providing funds for:
Gifts made to the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) Annual Fund through this catalog represent a gift to MCT’s entire mission—the development of life skills in children through participation in the performing arts. MCT will use your gift where it will do the most good by pooling it with the gifts of others.
