This is Ellie’s first year with the Missoula Children’s Theatre. She was born and raised in Yankton, South Dakota. After attending Millikin University for two years majoring in musical theatre, Ellie transferred to the University of South Dakota graduating in 2007 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting. Some of Ellie’s favorite roles at USD were: “Hope” in URINETOWN; “the Porter” in MACBETH; and “Judith” in HAYFEVER. She spent three summers as an actress at the Black Hills Playhouse in Custer, South Dakota, playing such parts as “Buttercup” in HMS PINAFORE. Ellie spent this last summer in West Virginia at Theatre West Virginia acting in three shows including the role of “Jan” in GREASE. She just finished touring the Midwest with Nebraska Theatre Caravan’s A CHRISTMAS CAROL where she played the roles of “Mrs. Fezziwig”, “Baker’s Wife”, “Dilber” and ensemble. Ellie is so excited to be working with MCT! The chance to work with amazing kids in a new town each week thrills her! She would like to thank her support system also known as her AMAZING family for simply loving her through it all. |
