Dear actor:
Thank you for your interest in the Missoula Children's Theatre! We welcome employment applications at any time as we do occasionally have mid-season openings. Our next period of employment for the 2012-2013 season begins with training in Missoula, May 29, 2012. The positions available at that time are 12-month contracts and summer only contracts.
The following items are required for a complete application:
1) Completed Tour Staff Application
2) COVER LETTER outlining your interest in MCT, Inc.
3) CURRENT HEADSHOT and RESUME.
4) AUDITION DVD with 2-3 minutes of representative acting (monologue or scene from a production, etc.) and singing—preferably accompanied. If an accompanist is not available to you, please use a keyboard to indicate starting note. We are looking for musicality, a sense of character and energy level. If you prefer to post on YouTube or would like to send an audition electronically, please provide the link by email.
Representatives from our company will attend all major audition/hiring conferences across the U.S. These include TPS, UPTA, NEXT STEP, MWTA, TCUTA; SETC, NETC and Straw Hat in the first few months of 2012. These conferences provide you with the opportunity to audition and interview with us in-person for our 2012-2013 season. Even if you are not registered for the conference, please contact us and we will make every effort to fit you in for an audition and interview.
