Originally from Missoula, Erik is a veteran Tour Actor/Director with the Missoula Children's Theatre and is excited to be affiliated with such a wonderful organization. He has a bachelor’s in music (vocal performance) from the University of Montana and a masters in music (vocal performance) from the University of Northern Colorado. Currently he resides in the Missoula area where he has been involved with various teaching and performing jobs in the music field. In addition to MCT, Erik has performed with Intermountain Opera (Bozeman, MT); High Desert Light Opera (Grand Junction, CO); and most recently, Boston Lyric Opera. Roles include: “Sam” in STREET SCENE; “Frank” in DIE FLEDERMAUS; “Old Deuteronomy” in CATS; “King Melchior” in AMAHL AND THE NIGHT VISITORS; as well as chorus roles in THE MAGIC FLUTE, RIGOLETTO and LA TRAVIATA. Interests and hobbies include watching and playing sports, golfing, bowling and playing the piano.
